Citra Amarillo Centennial

I picked up the Anvil Foundry and wanted to test it out so I took 11 LBS of 2-Row and 1 LB of Venia malt and added Citra and Amarillo hops in the boil. Once it was cold down I split it into 5 1 gallon batches and dry hopped with 5 different hops. This one is using Centennial hops

Recipe

11 LBS 2-Row

1 oz Citra 15 mins

1 oz Amarillo 10 mins

1 oz Citra 5 mins

US-05 Yeast

.25 oz Centennial 3 days into fermentation

Color: Bright yellow. More haze in this one vs the first 2

Smell: Big citrus, bitter citrus hint of fruit

Taste: Grapefruit citrus with some sweetness.

Overall: I think the Centennial took over the Citra and Amarillo in this one. With all the citrus in this beer you wouldnt think it had the other 2 hops. I do get some fruit in the back but not a lot.

Final Tasting

Color: Bight yellow, but looks watered down

Smell: Grapefruit citrus bitterness with a hint of fruit

Taste: low carb. Not much of a taste. Its like the hops are fighting. Hint of fruit and citrus.

Overall: Not one that I would make. If you wanted to drink the keg in a month I would say make it. If it was going to take you 2 or 3 months to drink I wouldnt make it.
