Batch 5 ESPE Kveik Yeast
Tropical Session White IPA is an all grain recipe that I found on Home brewers association web site. I wanted to split this batch and use some different yeasts. This Tropical Session White IPA was brewed on the Anvil Foundry. Here is the recipe for this all grain batch.
5 LBS 8 oz 2-Row
4 LBs White Wheat
90 min boil
1 oz Warrior 60 mins
.5 oz Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra Whirlpool 170 for 20 mins
1 oz Galaxy Whirlpool 170 for 20 mins
Split into 5 1 gallon fermenters
This batch is using ESPE Kveik 090 yeast
Tasting 1
Color: Hazy light yellow
Smell: Passion fruit dank. Hint of sweet fruit
Taste: Passion fruit dank wheat
Overall: Under carbonated. I think the galaxy is taken over. I should have used less.
