Amarillo Citra S04

Citra and Amarillo will start off my second small batch series. In the first series I used cascade and centennial hops.

To start of this series I wanted to use S04 as I did like that homebrew using that the most in the last series. So this batch used the following:

2 LBs 8 oz 2-Row

.25 oz Amarillo 60 min

.25 oz Citra 10 min

.25 oz Amarillo 5 min

S04 Yeast

.25 oz Citra and Amarillo dry hop 3 days

Color: Dark orange very hazy(beer looks oxidized)

Smell: Sweet citrus. Very fresh orange with a hint of fruit

Taste: Oxidized some. Bitterness with some fruit and citrus

Overall: Oxidized with lots of bitterness. Not as much bitterness in this version vs beer 1. Maybe month 2 will cut some of the bitterness. Not a lot of flavor in this one.
