Centennial Cascade with Honey Malt

This is homebrew #16 in our Centennial Cascade 2 Hop series. In this series we are making homebrews with Centennial and Cascade hops. I want to test out what malts, yeast go best with both hops. This version adds honey malt to the grain bill. Here is the recipe I used for this small batch. 1.25 gallons into the fermenter:

2 LBS 2-Row

4 oz Honey Malt

.25 oz Centennial 60 min

.25 oz Cascade 10 min

.25 oz Centennial 5 min

.25 oz Centennial and Cascade dry hop day 3

US-05 yeast

6.49% ABV

Color: Light caramel like a red orange. Hazy

Smell: Floral citrus

Taste: More sweetness in this one vs a lot of the other ones. Floral and citrus

Overall: I think this one needs more hops. The honey malt is covering up a lot of the hop flavors.
